MapEURhistory

The MapEUrHistory project stems from the awareness of the importance of training the professionals of the next generations in the field of European Historical Digital Maps, setting itself the concrete goal of creating a permanent platform, equipped with innovative and digital tools, for teachers and school staff of high schools. The project ran between October 2022 and September 2023 and has seen the involvement of 3 Romanian high schools.

Gourmetpast

The motivation behind the GourmetPast project is to provide unique and non-conventional training materials for culinary school instructors and students by focusing on the importance of culinary heritage and how it can be used to enhance education. The project aims to create a series of instructional videos that cover traditional food and public history methodology, providing a comprehensive overview of traditional dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques, as well as the historical and cultural context in which they were developed. This approach allows students to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the food they are learning to prepare, and to develop the skills necessary to create traditional dishes that are both historically accurate and delicious. The project runs between October 2023 and November 2024.
